GWTAN Annual Board Meeting

When: Wednesday, June 3, 6 - 8 pm Our annual board meeting will be a time to reflect on the success of the previous year as well as elect new board members and begin planning an exciting course of events for the year to come. If you are interested in being more involved in GWTAN or would like to provide your suggestions on where we should go from here, please come by!

Description: Attention members of the classes of 2004, 1999, 1989, 1984, 1970-79, and 1959 and earlier! Please mark your calendars for your class reunions to take place during Alumni Weekend. Your reunion will feature class reunion celebrations; an all-alumni kick-off celebration; "Classes without Quizzes;" tours of Thurston, campus, and much, much more.

Join us as we experience firsthand the culture and lifestyles of this mystical "Far East" region. We will explore the city's unique event venues, sample its cuisine, tour historic cultural sites, and experience its world-class hospitality. Designed specifically for students and professionals in the Tourism & Hospitality industry, this study tour is a unique learning experience that will give you insight into conducting events, meetings, incentives and tour programs within Thailand.
You will have the unique opportunity to: - Meet face-to-face with representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand Visit contemporary & traditional properties and unique historic venues ideal for events, meetings or incentive programs
- Meet face-to-face with area suppliers who will give you insight into doing business in Thailand
- Learn about EcoTourism programs and Voluntourism opportunities within Thailand
Participate in exciting tours & excursions which can be incorporated into your event, meeting, incentive or tour programs

GW Tourism for Tomorrow Spring Happy Hour

GW Tourism for Tomorrow (GW TFT) is a vibrant resource for current students, faculty and alumni of The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at The George Washington University, facilitating and creating opportunities for those associated with the Department to come together by way of social and professional development activities. The organization as a whole embraces the principles of responsible tourism and sustainable tourism practices.
We hope you can join us for drinks, food and good times as we wind down the spring semester with friends. This will be an excellent networking opportunity for students, as well as a great time for professional members to engage current and potential future student members of PMPI.
